NZIPP Iris Awards 2020

It’s been an honour and great fun being involved in this years New Zealand Institute of Professional Photographers (NZIPP) Iris awards, the format and parameters were a bit different this year due to the challenging times we are in with Covid-19.

This years changes were:

REDUCED ENTRY COSTS

NO LIMIT TO NUMBER OF ENTRIES

NO TIME LIMIT ON WHEN THE ENTRY WAS TAKEN - For 2020 only, due to current photography limitations, the 24 month timeframe requirement on image capture has been removed.

NEW AWARD – CATEGORY HIGHEST SCORING ENTRY AWARD - A new award to celebrate the entry that receives the highest score within each individual category. The winner is awarded the title, a certificate and digital decal to promote their win.

I was both a judge and submitted my own images this year, and was very happy to receive 16 in total:

13 bronze, 2 silvers and 1 silver with distinction
