Renew Art 2020

Renew Art 2020 was a Art renewal project put together by the Three Lakes Cultural Trust. To showcase what the talent in the Wakatipu basin community can do. The event was created to support local artists who were affected by Covid-19, there were 91 performers, and 20 visual artists involved, and it was a great success.

The event was held in both Queenstown & Wanaka, and featured local visual and performing artists, who had to showcase work on the theme of ‘renewal’. I was delighted to have my application accepted as one of the exhibitors which was a real honour, being one of only 2 photographers. The image is titled ‘The New Day’, and is of the rising sun in Moeraki, symbolising the promising start of a new day.
